A hot-shooting combination guard with two-way capabilities, Caballero has been flushed into a prominent role for KEBA’s national team. A high percentage scorer, Caballero averaged 19+ PPG his last two seasons of high school basketball. A unique feat was the 55 percent shooting percentage. He’s got the type of mindset to break a game open with his shooting, should he seize the hot hand and rattle off a few 3-pointers in succession and create a momentum roll.
Caballero’s ability to carve defenders with his suddenly deft handle and ward off defensive pressure, however, has bolstered Caballero’s rapid evolution as a prolific scorer.
Caballero knows how to create for himself and get a look at the rim, even amid amplified pressure.
The well-built guard also possesses the physically imposing attributes transferable to the Division-I level. Applying pressure all across the court, Caballero now relishes the challenge of locking up on the opposing team’s focal point.
With a 3.5 GPA and a relentless work ethic, Caballero has all of the attributes necessary as he transitions to the ensuing level of play. He’s a primary ball handler with unselfishness and knows how to orchestrate the uptempo attack, the KEBA Prep ’20 guard had multiple games of seven or more assists. He showed a deep and dept outside shooting touch, en route to a 22-point performance against Huntington Prep (WV) during his brief stay at ASI.
