Stock Risers: 10/28

Dominic Gooden, PHS Academy

The 5-foot-11 guard refused to let Covid and the limitations that come with it halt his insatiable thirst for competition this summer. He spent most of the time locked in a gym, training and refining components of his game.

Gooden has shown out this fall with heady facilitating and a purity of vision in how he sees the floor.

The Class of 2022 guard boasts a crafty offensive arsenal with a step back jumper and smooth around the rim finishing with either hand.

Johannes Kirsipuu, Scotland Campus
The 6-foot-1 guard out of Estonia is a shot-maker with a competitive edge that enables him to finish through contact.

Kirsipuu first garnered headlines and made waves as a freshman, erupting for 43 points in a win over St. Augustine. Last year against AIM High Academy (MI), Kirsipuu scored 40 points and began to generate interest from Division-I programs such as UMBC and Lafayette.

Kirsipuu, now one of the longest tenured players at national power Scotland, will again play for the national team. The combo guard has become more of a facilitator and bolsters the deep team with blanketing one on one defense.

Davon Lee, Scotland Campus
The smooth, 6-foot-1 lefty from Harrisburg, Pa., is a deadly shooter. He brings a tremendous advantage with his mid range and pull up game and ability to create his own shot off the dribble.

The Class of 2021 guard is a shot-maker and more athletic and smooth a one on one scorer than he gets credit for. He brings the tool set and potential to ascend the low to mid major Division 1 market this winter, as Scotland will play an exposure heavy schedule fortified with marquee matchups against traditional Prep heavy hitters.

Bryce Harris, Putnam Science Academy

High majors are beginning to buy stock in Harris, the 6-foot-6 New York native with a college ready build and deadly mid range and outside shot.

Harris is a major presence on the offensive glass, specializing in stick backs and battling for boards and 50-50 balls over taller post players.
Harris, who has compiled over 18 Division 1 offers, brings rare capabilities being able to post up from 10-feet out, catch and post, catch and stick, and bulldoze his way to the rim.

TJ Lamb, Central Pointe Christian Academy
The 6-foot-4 guard from West Virginia has made his presence felt as a late bloomer on the Class of 2021 post graduate level.

Sporting a bullish frame, a basketball-football build similar to that of former Syracuse guard Paul Harris, Lamb is able to battle on the glass. He’s a multi positional defender, bringing the size and athleticism to guard the perimeter and also front bigger players in the post.

Scoring wise, Lamb is an adept around the rim finisher. He’s shown an ability to step outside and hit the 3-pointer. With his form and his set shot, he creates mismatch issues. With his strength and toughness, Lamb has the tools that translate instantly to the collegiate game.

Gregory Binns, First State Acad (DE): The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Binns is a stout on ball pest who knows how to instigate turnovers and convert them into transition leakout finishes. He’s established himself as a reliable jump shooter who can extend his shot beyond the 3-point line. He’s become more adept at penetrating and kicking and knifing his way to the rim, finishing around the basket in acrobatic fashion. Naasir Cunningham, Gil St. Bernard’s (NJ): The 6-foot-7 Class of 2024 prospect recently garnered offers from LSU, Maryland, and Rutgers and is beginning to generate tremendous buzz. A 6-foot-7 guard who can facilitate as a big point guard and also play the two guard and the wing, Cunningham is a freakishly athletic finisher who possesses the quickness and versatility that makes him a pure mismatch at this level.
