Thompson Sustains Spring/Summer Focus

As a 6-foot-5 left handed shot maker with range and evolving athleticism, Blake Thompson has a unique game with offensive versatility.

Plying his trade in the basketball hotbed of Memphis, he’s played in some high level environments and registered his presence as a deadeye shooter. As he’s grown and his game has expanded, however, he’s developed the look of a big guard and quintessential mobile forward.

Playing on the Prep Hoops circuit this summer, Thompson will look to get his recruitment going. He’s stoked with confidence as he entertains a packed schedule. He will also play in the Kenny Anderson showcase, hosted by the legendary NYC point guard and former NBA point guard.

Being left handed and likely still growing at 6-feet-5, Thompson has worked on his range and prioritized being a floor spreader with a quicker release.

Given his high academic pedigree, Thompson has made an Ivy League and Patriot League opportunity an aspiration.

He’s subscribed to this goal through a summer grind that includes a stop at Jonathon Stark’s invite only player development camp. Stark, the former Murray State guard, is currently playing professionally overseas.
